My passion is to help uncover the cause of your health concern, find real solutions for healing, and walk with you through your journey.

HI! I AM STEPHANIE

I love Jesus, but I cuss a little. I have a doctorate and tattoos. I am weird, goofy, and silly, but I am passionate about what I do and will take your concerns and my approach to your care extremely seriously. I am first generation American, so I have a unique perspective when it comes to the biases intrinsic to being a part of an immigrant family and being considered “other.” I am honest and direct, but strive to be nurturing and supportive. I hold true to my values, but it will not interfere with the sanctity of our relationship. Our differences are what make us interesting! I believe in complete autonomy of self in addition to the sanctity of life from conception to natural death. I believe that science and faith are not mutually exclusive but complement each other in a beautiful way. I believe in a time and a place for all types of medications and treatments, but will help you unlock your body’s own potential with God-given options first. I promise to do my best to create a comfortable, accepting, nurturing, and supportive environment to empower you to become the best, healthiest, and happiest version of you. I will laugh with you. I will cry with you. I will be your biggest cheerleader.

LGBTQA+ All Inclusive Functional Medicine and Health & Wellness Coaching
Functional Medicine Provider Nurse Practitioner and Health & Wellness Coach

Meet the Staff(y)

Odin

Position Title: Head of Security
Species: Staffordshire Terrier Mix
Department: Bark & Protection Division
Reports to: No one. He was born middle management.

Job Summary:
As Head of Security, Odin takes his responsibilities very seriously—especially when it comes to barking at air molecules, suspicious delivery trucks, and patients who dare walk by holding umbrellas. With a deep commitment to vigilance (and snacks), he ensures that no leaf flutters past the clinic unnoticed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute loud and heartfelt vocal alerts whenever someone walks through the door, past the window, or into his general line of sight.

  • Conduct regular hallway patrols to sniff out trouble (or lunch crumbs).

  • Boost team morale with spontaneous play sessions and soulful gazes.

  • Provide emotional support in the form of warm eyes, a wagging tail, and the occasional surprise lap sit.

  • Position himself strategically in the busiest part of the clinic to maximize attention and head pats.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong background in barking at absolutely everything.

  • Advanced degree in Tail Wagging and People-Charming.

  • Certified Expert in Looking Concerned for No Reason.

  • Fiercely loyal, absurdly lovable, and deeply committed to maintaining the vibe.

Disclaimer: Security effectiveness is not measured in intruders stopped, but in smiles generated and hearts won.

Tiberius

Position Title: Head of Patient Relations
Species: Tabby Cat
Department: Hospitality & Unsolicited Zoom Appearances
Reports to: Literally no one. He’s the boss.

Job Summary:
As Head of Patient Relations, Tiberius brings a purrfessional touch to every clinic interaction. Known for his impeccable timing and complete disregard for personal space, he specializes in offering uninvited (but always welcome) emotional support during telemedicine visits and lounging across keyboards to foster a more pawsitive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gracefully enter Zoom calls at peak dramatic moments to lighten the mood.

  • Conduct silent yet firm supervision of staff from high shelves and printer tops.

  • Provide calming therapy via headbutts, lap naps, and the rhythmic thrum of his purring engine.

  • Keep morale high by occasionally knocking small objects off desks with purpose and flair.

  • Participate in staff meetings by strolling across important documents and sitting directly on them.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in emotional manipulation through eye contact.

  • Purrs at a frequency proven to lower blood pressure (probably).

  • Expert in spatial awareness and lying exactly where you need to be.

  • Fluent in Feline-English passive-aggressiveness and unconditional love.

Disclaimer: Availability for actual petting is strictly on a whim-based system. Patient satisfaction not guaranteed, but statistically inevitable.

Nursing came a second career to me, after caring for my father in his final days. I felt called to serve God's people in an intimate capacity and to be a light to them in their darkest days. After several years of nursing, I went on to complete my Master of Science in Nursing with a focus in Nursing Education from Grand Canyon University, but was not quite ready to leave the bedside.

After working as a registered nurse in the operating room, the emergency department, and in clinical nurse education for over 10 years, I completed my Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner through Loyola University New Orleans.

But wait, there's more! I didn't stop there! I completed my Doctor of Nursing Practice through Frontier Nursing University, followed by formal training in functional medicine through the Institute of Functional Medicine, and obtained a certificate in health and wellness coaching from mindbodygreen. My continued women's health and menopause training comes from The Menopause Society and The International Society for the Study of Women's Sexual Health. I am a forever learner with a thirst for knowledge. I strive to always be up to date and ensure my patients and clients are given the most current options in care.
